Oloolua nature trail in Karen.
I went there with some friends and all I could be is thrilled to be out of the house and into the woods.
The air was fresh and everywhere was looking green. As we walked through the trail I felt my thoughts clear and my heart jump a beat at the beauty of the flora. I couldn't help but take a snap at this, take a snap at that, swing on that branch, listen to the lovely sound of the stream, and rock at the sound of the falls.
Oloolua nature
trail is a five kilometer nature trail located in Karen approximately 40 Km from Nairobi town. It is a
park managed by the national museums of Kenya. The entrance fee is Ksh
200 for citizen adults, Ksh 100 for citizen children, 600 for
non-resident adults and 300 for non-resident children.
Oloolua
also has a bamboo cliff and a cave which are both breathtaking
sceneries. How can I forget our primate brothers
the baboons who will
want to be invited for a snack and might dance with you if you're lucky.
the baboons who will
want to be invited for a snack and might dance with you if you're lucky. because there is a picnic area available. DON'T
carry a heavy bag, as I regretfully did, only have a very light bag, if
you must have one and carry a light sweater just in case it gets a bit
chilly in the waterfall area. Please wear nice comfortable shoes,
preferably sport shoes, and the ones that have a good grip, because you
will find the rocks to be slippery. DON'T wear tight jeans or a suit
